If one has not done the research or chosen the knowledgeable consultant, then one is certainly setting oneself up for failure. At least failure of the product.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been a commercial flooring consultant for over thirty years, a sad fact, I know. However, once you get fiber in the blood, it's hard to shake it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are two types of Nylon fibers in production today, with slight variations on both. The first and best, in my humble opinion, is Type 6,6. The second is a Type 6There are a couple of fiber manufacturers in the United States, and several carpet mills that produce their own fiber. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here's the deal. You better know who makes the fiber, what the modified ratio is, what the cross section looks like, along with the color, pattern, construction, backing, installation method and understand what the results of that knowledge can present and how those features and benefits will impact your wallet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's confusing and costly if the wrong flooring product is specified. &lt;br /&gt;If you are thinking about making an investment in new commercial flooring, give me a call. INSTALLED!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p&gt;Let's say your TI build out allowance is 50.00 per SF. Based on approximately 2000 SF and up, MAiSpace can provide all the services and products noted above. At the very high end, all in, for $20.00. Do the math, that leaves $30.00 per SF for HVAC, Grid, Lights, Ceiling Tiles, Fire Sprinkler, and Bathroom. And the tenant gets an office full of nice quality modular furniture. MAiSpace also offers 36 months lease at 0% interest. Pretty good terms. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;What a win win scenario. The tenant gets a gorgeous office including furniture that they otherwise would not have been able to afford, the landlord finally gets a tenant, the owner increases the revenue stream, and the bank is happy. Some landlords are buying this product and scope of services simply to help lease their space. And it's working. I have known and worked with Karen for several years. The general contractor is Hispanic, Karen is from Brazil, and I am from the south. Therefore we are always in tune with the needs of our clients. Karen has been proactive in providing connections for pharmacy equipment providers, and I have quizzed the client on move management, FF&amp;amp;E, logo design, SEO, and other marketing information and advice. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;You see, we are not only concerned with our scope, but a holistic approach to the business of the business we have been hired to help create. Most of our clients are unfamiliar with the process of construction, design and architecture, not to mention the hundreds of other details required to open a business. Therefore we try and do our best to head off any problems from the start. To alert the client of any services they may have not thought about or might be lacking. I've never met so many new people in such a short amount of time. I am curious, is it me...or my wine. I guess I'll know soon, when the wine runs out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have  the good fortune to have work in this depressed market.  And I must say good work too. I have a potential for a surgicenter remodel, an assisted living gig, and a supportive care facility and a hand clinic. In addition the surgicenters I've been  working on in Houston, Vegas, and Austin are getting off the ground,  so to speak.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some of my time this week has been spent mentoring several young designers fresh out of school trying to navigate the world in which we find ourselves today. It's not pretty. I am quite heartened by the increase in interest in my services and the architectural/interior design/space planning industries in general.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am currently working on an aquatic center, a transitional living facility, a supported living facility and several physical rehabilitation locations, as well as a hand clinic and surgicenter, both in the Phoenix area and across the country.
